Is the University of Auckland a good school?

I have been looking into the University of Auckland and I am wondering if it would be a good decision for me to go?Is the University hard to get into to?Is it expensive for foreign students(and if so,how much is it)?Will my degree there be excepted in the US or other countries if I ever decide to leave New Zealand?
