Baggage Transfer in transit between Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines?

I am travelling from Hong Kong to Singapore via Cathay and on a separately booked ticket, from Singapore to Auckland via Singapore Air. How do i go through transit without having to pass through immigration at Singapore and recheckin again???
