Costs of clubbing in Auckland NZ?

I am new to clubbing and have no idea what to expect, what are the costs involved like entry, average drink price, how long you usually wait in a line, anything that is a need to know really about heading into central city, doesn't need to all be about money but I don't want to burn what I have in one night and have a bad first experience.
