Australian and New Zealand Women.. A question on men of different countries?

So I'm heading to both of these places in about 2 weeks or so and I'm only going to be there for a total of a like 2 days at each place, but I am an American guy. I fell upon a question a guy asked earlier but is the American accent that annoying? Not in a rude asking type of way I am seriously wondering.. but also with what everything I have read.. It seems as if y'all (yes I live in Texas) hate the American accent so much that if someone wanted to just strike up a conversation the guy would just be laughed at? I'm just looking to enjoy my time while I am there and meet people from around the world and plus I have always found the women to be beautiful and not being shallow at all but the accent is very sexy. If anyone could answer just that question it would be helpful! Thank you! And also if anyone know of things to do in either Brisbane or Auckland, I am up for anything! Thanks again!
