What should I going to New Zealand?

I was born and raised in Auckland and still live here, however i travelled to USA in 2008 and i left my heart in NY so I would say your crazy to move, NZ'ers are lovely friendly people however Auckland doesn't have quite the same vibe that other cities have. I live on the North Shore though, which is a 10-15 min drive over a bridge from auckland CBD, however it has every thing you would need and more, I love it here, and going into Auckland City is like going to a whole nother town. I suggest looking into North Shore, Wellington, or perhaps Australia....
