Traveling to New Zealand with a study abroad program?

I spent 5 years there and did university. Don't do manakau....auckalnd is cool but the rest of nz is what stands out and make it different. (manakau is south auckland) If your a partier then hit dunedin or wellington. Both islands are beautiful and easy to get around, obviously the north island is warmer though for the most part. Enjoy your time there.
